Beef Empire Days Live Show
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Yesterday was a busy day for Beef Empire Days as they held their Rely on Revalor live cattle show.
The show consisted of 97 steers and 40 heifers that were judged. 25 were chosen from the two categories. The first-place winner in each received a prize of $500, and the second-place winner received $300. All winners received a leather Beef Empire Days banner to display.
In the heifer category, Heritage Feeders of Sublette won first place, and Triangle H Grain & Cattle Co. from Garden City claimed second place.
In the steer category, Sunbelt Feed Yard of Hugoton was the winner and Danner Feeders of Muscatine, Iowa, placed second.
Beef Empire Days 2017 continues Wednesday evening at 6:30 with the Sponsors reception at the Clarion Inn. The reception is an opportunity to network with customers and clients. Following the reception at 8:30 will be the People’s choice Auction.
