Wayne I. Turley, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home in Maize, Kansas. He was born on May 10, 1939 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Uless Francis and Nora Marie Smith Turley. Wayne was a resident of Scott City, Kansas until in early 1980‘s when he moved to Maize, Kansas. He was a carpenter.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

On September 3, 1993 he married Bertie Wilson in Wichita, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors Include his Wife – Bertie Turley of Maize, Kansas, Four Sons – Todd Turley of Cimarron, Kansas, Shane Turley of Melton, Kansas, Rocky Turley of Houston, Texas, Shannon Turley of Plainview, Texas, Two Daughters – Annette Dvorak of Goddard, Kansas, Tonya Burkholder of Houston, Texas, One Brother – Clifford Turley of Garden Plain, Kansas, Two Sisters – Elsie Wright of Scott City, Theda Thompson of Greeley, Colorado, 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends

He was preceded in death by his Parents. Four Brothers – Marvin Turley, Melvin Turley, Teddy Turley, Danny Turley and One Sister – Jessie Wright.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Don Williams presiding.

Memorials may be given to Wayne Turley Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
