Marshall Votes No on House Republican Budget Bill

(westernkansasnews.com) House Republicans pass a 1.1 trillion dollar budget to keep the government open through September, but not everyone is happy with its passage.

Western Kansas Congressman Roger Marshall says he could not vote for the measure because all it does is increase spending without attempts to reduce the deficit. Marshall called on Republicans to do better.

After winning approval by the House 309 to 118 the budget bill moves to the Senate.
