Worley E. Flagler, 68, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe.

He was born May 15, 1948 at Hays, the son of Herman and Myrtle (Reeder) Flagler. He was a car salesman most of his life and recently worked in construction. He moved to the Kansas City area from Colorado in 2012.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Overland Park.

On December 16, 1968 he married Jane Ziegler at Aurora, Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Jane, Overland Park; his daughter, Annie Trotta and husband Luke, Overland Park; a brother, Larry Flagler and wife Linda, Topeka; a sister, Joyce Morlong and husband Ritchie, Clay Center; 2 grandsons, Leo Worley Trotta and Frank Nicholas Trotta; 5 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law, 5 nephews, 18 beautiful nieces and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Kay Zeman and 2 nieces Ginny Ziegler and Connie Zeman.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 1, 2017 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 9514 Perry Lane, Overland Park, with Pastor’s Joel Schroeder and Shane Krause officiating. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.

The family suggests memorials to Worley’s Grandsons Education Fund in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
