Three Quarters of a Billion Education Funding Plan Still Leave Some Kids Without
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) One of the plans being considered in the Kansas House would pour an additional 750 million dollars into education statewide over the next five years. USD 443 Superintendent Alan Cunningham says it will take a few years to make up the funding gap already left behind.
Although grateful for the amount being considered it still leaves one important group in the hole with no way to catch up.
Cunningham says ultimately the State Supreme Court has to decide if the additional money is enough.
