Farmers Grateful to See Recent Spring Rains

(westernkansasnews.com) The recent rains that have soaked our region have been a welcome relief for farmers who up until this time have been experiencing drought like conditions. Although technically a drought still exist K-State Extension Agronomist A.J. Foster believes the rain is making a small positive impact.

 

The wheat crop has some resilience despite the overall dry conditions.

These recent spring rains creates an interesting decision for farmers. We will have more on that story Friday.
