John R. Vigil

John R. Vigil, age 69, died on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his daughters home in Baldwin City, Kansas. He was born on October 21, 1947 in LaJunta, Colorado the son of Megirio and Mercedes Salas Vigil.

He was a resident of Garden City, Kansas and a United States Army Veteran.

On August 17, 1968 he married Carol Jimenez in Garden City, Kansas. The marriage ended in divorce.

He is survived by:

Vincent Vigil of Missouri

Laura (David) Luedecke of Baldwin City, Kansas

Juanita Vigil of Thornton, Colorado

One Brother Ben Vigil of Colorado

Three Sisters Elsie Ulloa of Colorado

Edna Juniel of Colorado

Patricia Vigil of Colorado

Fifteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Edward, George, Julian, Ted, and Megirio, Jr.

Cremation was selected and there will be no calling times.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
