GCPD: Campaign to Reduce Texting and Driving Set to Begin
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Next week the Garden City Police Department will step up efforts to educate people on the dangers of distracted driving. Sergeant Andrew Rousch says officers have seen it all around town. Here is what they are looking for.
Rousch even spotted someone on facetime while driving. This campaign is geared toward education rather than enforcement.
Still individual officers can issue tickets at their discretion.
