Weekend Cold Spell Sets Several Daily Records in SW Kansas

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Sunday was a record breaking morning for low temperatures in Southwest Kansas. Mike Umscheid is National Weather Service Meteorologist in Dodge City.

Monday morning was no different in rewriting the record books.

For Garden City, Monday was the third straight day of setting a record low for that date. Although there were slick spots reported this weekend the Kansas Highway Patrol reported no major accidents.
