Banda to Undergo Mental Competency Evaluation

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Longtime medical marijuana advocate Shona Banda will undergo a competency exam to see if she should continue to face charges for drug possession with intent to distribute and child endangerment.

Banda claims she uses pot to cope with symptoms from her Crohn’s Disease.  Banda will be back in Judge Wendell Wurst’s courtroom January 17th to go over the findings of a competency exam in seeing how to proceed further with this case.
