Mary “Trudy” Moreno
Mary “Trudy” Moreno, 61, died Wednesday, October 27, 2016 at the Western Plains Medical Complex. She was born April 4, 1955 at Dodge City, the daughter of Dale and Mary (Main) Barnes. She was a lifetime area resident.
She was a Para Professional at the Dodge City High School and she loved working with the children.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jeff Moreno, Dodge City and Mark Moreno, Hays, Kansas; 4 daughters, Teather Soriano, Lisa Myers, Juanita Moreno, and Dani Moreno all of Dodge City; 2 brothers, Jerry Barnes, Fountain, Colorado and Rodney Barnes, Wood River Junction, Rhode Island; sister, Debby Clark, Wichita, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Fr. Aneesh Parappanattu officiating. Book signing will be Monday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place.
