Saturday’s Vet Parade Will Honor Those That Serve
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Even though a day later than the official Veterans Day holiday on the 11th, Garden City will have its annual parade on Saturday at 10am.
The route will take everyone in the parade down Main Street. Police Chief Michael Utz who is also a veteran is honored to have his department do all they can in saying thank you to the men and women of our armed forces. It is a debt of gratitude that is never fully paid.
Later on in the day at 6:30 there will be a fireworks display at the Finney County Fairgrounds to wrap up the day’s activities.
