Positive Attitude: Guard and GCCC Love New Partnership
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) During last week’s Military appreciation night football game at Garden City Community College active members invited commented on why its so important to continue fostering the new partnership between the Kansas National Guard and the College.
Colonel Roger Murdock says with financial assistance available at both the state and federal level, guard members are taking advantage by taking classes at GCCC.
After his visit to GCCC, Chief Master Sargent James Brown wants the Guard to mirror what he saw around him.
The hope is the rest of the state will follow Garden City’s lead.
The Guard is confident that students will be rewarded in taking classes and serving with them.
