Cessna: KASB Report Card Shows Slide in Education Funding
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Association of School Boards had a presentation to give earlier this week to Board members at USD 457 in Garden City on this year’s State Education Report Card. School District Information Coordinator Roy Cessna gives a summary of the report’s findings.
With a new school funding model needed next year these findings could be the push for change.
The State Supreme Court also took up the matter of adequacy for school funding last week.
