Hospital CEO Taylor Explains Why He Backs Medicaid Expansion

Taylor believes it comes down to this simple truth.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports Kansas could have received 2.4 billion over three years in federal funds if they expanded medicaid.
There is another reason some people in healthcare are lining up to ask Kansas reconsider its hardline against Medicaid expansion. Taylor says taking the money does not just help those who may need care, but rural hospitals as well.
Taylor stresses the cost for rural hospitals continues to rise.
With their high number of medicaid patients, Taylor believes medicaid expansion could help bring in another million dollars to St. Catherine.
