No Teacher Shortage at USD 443 in Dodge City
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Unlike some school districts in our region, Dodge City currently has filled all their teaching positions. Superintendent Alan Cunningham explains how they managed to do this.
Cunningham is pleased the district does not have to condense students into one classroom like they did last year. There is also more good news as the mill levy remains at 57.06. It is a commitment the district kept with taxpayers.
Without those additional sources of revenue, Cunningham believes the mill levy would have likely increased.
