Kansas Farm Bureau Will Travel With Congressional Candidate Marshall
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Kansas Farm Bureau a couple of weeks ago made its endorsement for challenger Dr. Roger Marshall of Great Bend to take the House Seat currently held by Congressman Tim Huelskamp. Today KFB President Richard Felt and Marshall will make a series of stops across Southwest Kansas.
Felt on the one area that gave Marshall the advantage.
Kansas Farm Bureau did not make an endorsement two years ago when Huelskamp ran against Alan LaPolice in the Republican Primary. Marshall was in Southwest Kansas Thursday touting his farm credentials after being endorsed by Kansas Farm Bureau. He also wanted to set the record straight on taxes.
The reason Marshall wants the state’s to put on an internet sales tax is fairness for brick and mortar stores.
All indications are the race is tight between Marshall and incumbent Congressman Tim Huelskamp.
