GCRC Board Hires New Superintendent
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Attempting to turn the page from their recent financial troubles the Garden City Recreation Commission Board hired a new superintendent Monday. Aaron Stewart was one of two finalists for the position. He will come to Garden City after serving as the Sports Program Manager in Firestone, Colorado.
GCRC Board Chair Myca Bunch stressed the importance of making a good hire.
Eric Jantz the Holcomb Recreation Director was also interviewed. Bunch talked about the qualities both finalists’ possessed. Stewart begins his new job August 15th.
