Baker nets 14 in Knicks Summer League win
Orlando, FL (westernkansasnews.com)-These days Ron Baker plays with a massive chip on his shoulder. And who could blame him?
After not hearing his name called on draft night, Baker’s phone rang soon after; it was the New York Knicks offering him a free-agent contract.
Baker is not wasting any time in trying to make a good first impression.
The rookie scored 14 points in 31 minutes on Tuesday afteroon before fouling out as the Knicks topped the Los Angeles Clippers 92-84 in the Orlando Summer League. Baker shot 3-of-9 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
