Estes: Bottom Line is to Get School Funding Solved
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Governor Brownback has set June 23rd as the day to call the legislature back into special session for fixing equity in how state schools are funded. House Representative Bud Estes of Dodge City says once again this will come down to a juggling act in satisfy the court order.
It has become a moot point, but does the court have even the right to close schools?
Estes is convinced the debate does not matter, he is committed to making sure schools stay open. We will get another perspective on this issue Friday.
