Sandy Ward
Sandy Ward, 52, of Guymon, OK died Friday, May 20, 2016 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX.
She was born September 9, 1963 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Vernon and LaVeta (Frederick) Williams.
She married Bobby Ward on May 12, 1984 in Liberal, KS.
Sandy was a class of 1982 graduate of Turpin, HS and attended SWOSU. She worked in Custodial for Seaboard Foods since 2005. She enjoyed reading, riding on Bobby’s Harley, board games, going to the movies, hanging out with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Sandy was a kind and giving woman.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Ward of Guymon, OK. Son- Cody Ward of Guymon, OK; Daughter- Shawna Chandara and husband Kacc of Tyrone, OK; Granddaughter- Quinn Chandara; Grandson, Kasteel Chandara; Three Brothers- Alan Williams of Turpin, OK, Gary Williams and wife Sharon of Elizabethtown, PA, Timothy Williams and wife Lolita of Ft. Carson, CO; Two Sisters-Teresa Kreie and husband Scott of Turpin, OK, Roxanna Cervantes of Kismet, KS; Brother in Law- Perry Ward and wife Diana of Liberal, KS. Several nieces, nephews and adopted children
Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Wednesday May 25 and 9:00 am-8:00 pm Thursday May 26th at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Friday May 27, 2016 at Faith Tabernacle with Pastor Rex Petty Celebrating. Burial will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, OK.
The family suggests memorials to Autism Speaks in care of Miller Mortuary.
