Agustin A. Garcia
Agustin A. Garcia, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on August 28, 1934 in La Merced, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Marcelino and Pascuala Garcia.
He was a 50 year resident of Kearny County and for the last five years lived in Garden City, Kansas.
He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
On August 30, 1962 he married Candelaria “Cande” Murillo in Garden City, Kansas. She passed away on February 1, 2016 in Garden City, Kansas.
Other Survivors Include his One Son -Augie and Lesa Garcia of Garden City, Kansas,Two Daughters -Nora and Mark Burnett of Scott City, Kansas, Nydia Garcia of Garden City, Kansas, Five Grandchildren – Alex and Andrew Burnett, Brooklyn, Kaytlynn and Tristan Garcia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant children, one brother, Atilano Garcia, three sisters, Antonia, Francisca & Bernardina Garcia
Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 11, 2015.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 Tuesday and 10:00-5:00 Wednesday at Price and Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
Interment will be in the Lakin Cemetery in Lakin, Kansas at 1:30 on Thursday.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County Hospital % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
