Robert attended Plymell and St Mary Grade Schools and graduated from Garden City High School in 1956. He attended Garden City Community College and Kansas State University. He served in the National Guard. Robert was a lifelong farmer on the family farm in Finney County. He enjoyed bowling and especially being around his family activities. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers- Raymond Heiman & Eugene Heiman & 5 Sisters- Irene Rome, Evelyn Rome, Loretta Keller, Margaret Ann Wasinger & Mary Dechant.
