Buffaloes race past competition; take 1st in Manhattan
Manhattan, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-All season long, the Garden City girls swim team had been searching for that signature victory.
Well on Wednesday afternoon they got it. And of all places, it happened on the road.
The Buffaloes had six first-place finishers in 11 events and racked up a mind-boggling 549 points. The second closest team was the host squad Manhattan, who finished with 405.
