Stanton County Wreck Claims a Life
(westernkansasnews.com) State troopers report a driver from Springfield, Colorado was killed in a head on collision Friday afternoon at 12:30 in Stanton County on K27, 22 miles south of the intersection with US 50. 45 year old Brenda Lasley’s 2015 Chrysler went left of center and struck a semi. She died hours later. The driver of the semi another 45 year old Antonio Galaviz of Guymon, Oklahoma was taken to Stanton County Hospital for his injuries.
A motorcyclist was injured Saturday morning at 10 as he wiped out into a ditch. The accident happened on K23, one mile north of Cimarron. Victim has been identified as 29 year old Richard Gonzales of Garden City. He was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge.
