GCPD Makes Drug Arrest, Investigate Shooting
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police say they have wrapped up a seven month long investigation with the arrest of a 43 year old man. Officers have in custody Armando Leyva-Castillo accused of selling 44 grams of methamphetamine since last September. The suspect has been booked into the Finney County jail. Charges are expected shortly.
Officers also responded about 4:30 Thursday to the 800 block of Ida Street where a 19 year old man was shot in the back of the residence. Victor Irigoyen was medflighted to Via Christi in Wichita for his injuries. A person of interest has been identified in the case.
