K-9 Works Hard to Snuff Out Lawbreaking Activity

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There are two K-9 handlers in the Garden City Police Department. We introduced you to Officer Chris Seeman weeks ago and today we’ll talk with Officer Rich Colburn whose partner “Johnny”came a long way to serve.

Johnny came from a kennel designed for breeding police and military use dogs. When something breaks it is nice to have a furry friend at your back.

Both officer and dog train together for 12 weeks. They have been a team for almost two years.
