DCHS Student Richter Earns Spot in Fort Hays KAMS Program

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Dodge City High School Sophomore Amelia Richter has been accepted into Kansas Academy of Math and Sciences Program or KAMS at Fort Hays State the first student from USD 443 to be selected.

Here is how KAMS works.

For Richter the hardest part will be giving up swimming for the Red Demons after this school year. Richter is not sure what career field she is going into, but is hopeful the program will be a springboard to whatever she decides and will challenge her academically.
