Waterpark Expected to Attract High Level of Excitement
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Construction is going on at a feverish pace to get everything just right for the opening of the new Long Branch Lagoon Waterpark in Dodge City. Dodge Parks and Rec Director Paul Lewis is confident the features of this water park offer something for everyone.
Lewis says the other advantage is by using a regenerative filter system they are using less water.
A lot of consideration went into determining the price of admission.
Day passes are as low as seven dollars, still the facility will run a deficit.
The loss will be made up by attracting more people to the area through increased sales tax revenue.
The grand opening will take place late next month
