Cauble Gives Legislature Poor Grade For Tackling Education Needs

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas House voted down a proposal Tuesday that would have repealed common core standards for both reading and math in the state. State Board of Education Board Member Sally Cauble of Dodge City does not know why Representatives were voting on the measure in the first place.

Cauble thinks the legislature needs to focus on adequately funding schools instead of channeling anger over changing common core or taking on State Supreme Court justices.

Cauble contends the legislature as a whole are not listening to their constituents.
