Doug was a lifetime resident of Garden City. He attended Theoni Grade School, Kenneth Henderson Middle School and graduated from Garden City High School. His first jobs were at Finney County Feed Yard and Reeve Cattle Company as a Cowboy. He then worked at National By Products before becoming a Mechanic and Shop Foreman at Cummins Mid America. Doug enjoyed riding his horses and team roping. He was preceded in death by his Parents & 1 Brother- Curtis Nicholson.
