High Turnout Reported For Kansas Caucus

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Saturday’s Kansas Presidential Caucus ignited passions from both sides of the political spectrum. Dick Henkel is the Finney County GOP Chairman.

This voter made the hour drive from Scott County to vote for her candidate.

An equally high turnout was also reported for the Democratic Caucus held at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City. Texas Senator Ted Cruz won with 48 percent of the vote for the Republicans and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton among Kansas Democrats 2 to 1.
