Factors Involve in Raising Speed Limit on Rural Highways
(westernkansasnews.com) There has been talk in the legislature about raising the speed limit. For now a bump from 75 to 80 miles per hour on the interstate has been turned down, but the increase from 65 to 70 miles per hour on rural highways is still being discussed. If a speed limit increase is approved for rural highways there’s one more hurdle to climb.
Anyone at that point could make a request to look into increasing the speed limit.
