KU, K-State Find Value in Proposed Water Conservation Plan

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) KU and K-State are rivals at many things, but this is a project they are happy to team up. The plan put forth by State Representative Bud Estes of Dodge City allows farmers to conserve water use on their own land in exchange for investing in renewable energy.

Both universities will develop the plan and Estes now says another partner wants to join them.

Estes is attempting to raise 100,000 dollars to get the research idea up and running.
