Cimarron, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The wrestling season can be a long and grinding season mentally and physically. Norton repeated once again as a regional champion for the fourth straight year, sending eight wrestlers to Hays next weekend, and winning by a 35.5 point margin over runner-up Scott City. The Beavers qualified seven wrestlers for state next weekend, while Cimarron qualified four, Lakin three and Wichita County two. There were four area wrestlers that claimed regional championships, which included Theron Tucker, Jack Thomas and Jarret Jurgens from Scott City, and Josh Seabolt from Cimarron.
