Man Dies From Fire in His Apartment Building

Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Food left on a heated stove led to a fire Tuesday that cost Tekoa Callaway his life.  Firefighters say they found the man sleeping in the bedroom of his apartment.  The victim later died at a local hospital.  No other injuries were reported in the four unit complex.
