Carolyn Ann Roseberry McCall

Carolyn Ann Roseberry McCall passed quietly in Friendship, Wisconsin on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of 64. 

She was born on October 6, 1951 in Dodge City, Kansas to James and Helen (Davidson) Roseberry of Cimarron. 

She graduated from Cimarron High school in Cimarron in 1970 and later went to Job Corp in Excelsior Spring, Missouri, becoming a Physical therapy assistant. She had worked at Cimarron Manor in Cimarron and Trinity Hospital in Dodge City. 

She married Ken Miller of Dodge City and they had a daughter, Victoria (Tori) and they divorced. She later moved to Wisconsin and was married to Edward McCall by proxy in Leavenworth, Kansas while he was stationed in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. After he returned, they were married in the St. Joseph Catholic church in Friendship, Wisconsin. During that marriage, a son, James Edward (Jamie) was born. 

Carolyn was an avid softball player. She played with various women’s teams around Dodge City and had taught her little sister how to be the best in that sport. 

Carolyn leaves behind her son, James of Jackman, Maine and daughter, Tori La Chapelle of Colorado Springs, Colorado and her four grandsons, Hunter, Trevor, Toby and Tanner. Sister’s, Virginia Smith of Lamar, Colorado and Midge Holsten and husband Max, of Ensign, Kansas. Also, many nieces and nephews and her special friends in Friendship, Wisconsin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Helen Roseberry, brothers, Marion, Donnie, Gene and Charlie. Grandparent’s, Ivan and Hazel M. Davidson of Cimarron, Kansas. 

Memorial services will be planned at a later date.
