John attended Garden City schools and served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He was a lifelong salesman and known as the “Sprinkler Man”. He sold for Sunflower Pipe & Supply of Garden City for 15 years and then at Kroy Industries in Ulysses for 15 years while also working part-time at Swank Landscaping for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and being with his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, 2 Brothers- Robert “Buck” Brown & Billy Ray Brown, 1 Sister- Sheila Haug and a Nephew- Brandon Underwood.
