Locals added to Shrine Bowl Roster
Four local athletes were named to the Shrine Bowl roster on Monday.
Garden City linebacker Nalen Rincones, Scott City running back Cooper Griffith, Ulysses all-world back Ian Rudzik, who rushed for over 7,000 yards during his career and Holcomb quarterback Trey Teeter, who guided his team to their first ever football state title, were named to the west squad. Longhorns Coach Kent Teeter will serve as an assistant for the west.
The Shrine Bowl will be played July 30 at Welch Stadium in Emporia.
