Grants Help Spark Improvements at Kearny County Hospital

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Western Kansas Community Foundation is a non-profit using grants to make a significant contribution locally.  A recent partnership with Kearny County Hospital of Lakin has made great strides in helping men with their health.  Hospital CEO Benjamin Anderson explained the link during the Garden City Chamber’s monthly breakfast Wednesday.

Anderson says prostate health is not promoted enough and he hopes this program will help encourage men to get an exam. 

Thanks to one of only four grants awarded statewide, Kearny County Hospital is about to begin an extensive survey with the goal of improving the efficiency of health services.
