Richman inks with Butler (Audio)
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Ashlee Richman has spent the past three years locking down the goalie box in Garden City.
On Tuesday she took a deep breath and planned out her future. Her choice of schools will set her up for a potential Division-I scholarship down the line.
Richman officially signed a national letter of intent to play at Butler Community College beginning next season.
“They have a goalie coach there,” Richman said. “It’s something I haven’t had since I’ve been here-so that was a big reason why.”
Richman’s career numbers speak for themselves. Last season alone she had 83 saves and recorded eight shutouts. Her freshman season was arguably her best-stopping 140 shots; recording five shutouts and was named as an honorable-mention All-Wac performer.
