KDOT Starts Process For Making Parts of US 54 Four Lane Road
Seward County, KS (westernkansasnews.com) KDOT is facing budget constraints, but that has not stopped planning on future road projects in Western Kansas. One of the top priorities is US 54 on the eastern edge of Seward County near Plains-Kismet.
If all goes well, KDOT spokesperson Kirk Hutchinson expects the first phase of construction to begin next summer.
