Sheriff: Man Wanted For Domestic Abuse Arrested After Chase
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Finney County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 30 year old man from Garden City wanted for throwing his estranged ex-wife out of a moving car Tuesday morning. Jason Lund is accused of pushing 34 year old Heather Lund in the area of Mansfield Road sometime between 1-3. For a moment Heather Lund reported being dragged by the car.
After reporting the incident to deputies, her ex-husband drove by starting a chase that began on the 2300 block of Lee Street and ended several minutes later when Jason Lund crashed his Ford pickup at the corner of 8th and Campbell. Lund has been booked into the Finney County jail and will potentially face charges of domestic battery, assault and fleeing from police.
