Cattle Truck Overturns, US 50 Closed For Hours Monday

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State highway patrol reports a driver attempting to turn left across all lanes of US 50 caused a semi carrying cattle to overturn around 8:15 Monday morning on the east side of Garden City.  No injuries were reported, but five head of cattle had to be destroyed at the scene.  Police directed traffic around the area until the road reopened around 3:30pm.
