Buffs golf takes sixth at state; Gaspar state runner-up
Andover, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-After placing 19th at last year’s 6A state golf tournament, Danielle Gaspar spent the next 12 months on a serious mission.
Then came the move to Idaho with her family; then the move back to Garden City.
But even after playing only half the season, the junior saved her best golf for last.
Gaspar finished her final season in Garden City as the 6A state runner up; finishing a single stroke back of state champion Mia Tovkach from Gardner Edgerton.
