Fort Hays President Reflects on Personal Meaning of Pope’s Visit
Hays, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Taking a couple of personal days Fort Hays State President Doctor Mirta Martin saw Pope Francis I during his recent visit to Washington. Leaving her hotel at 2 in the morning her persistence paid off.
Martin’s visit convinced her she is in a position to do the most good.
Martin will be in Southwest Kansas next week as part of the university’s annual reachout tour.
