Little Confidence of Cap Revenue Limit Law Being Lifted
Lakin, KS (westernkansasnews.com) One of the most controversial parts in the last legislative session aside from the education funding issue was the state capping local municipalities ability to raise revenue. State Representative Russ Jennings of Lakin isn’t optimistic this new law will undergo major changed.
Jennings believes the experience of those in the legislature could be a reason this passed.
Jennings does not share that view of distrust because he has worked with city and county commissioners in his previous jobs.
