Dodge City Dominates Soccer Opener 7-0

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Their new coach has been on the job a little more than a month, but you would not know it from the Dodge City Boys High School Soccer team.  The Red Demons scored six goals in the first half and two in the first ten minutes of the match to rout Wichita South in the season opener 7-0 at Memorial Stadium.  For Dodge City Head Coach Saul Hernandez he wins his first game at his alma mater and in a contest where seven different players scored.

Senior Leonel Lopez was one of the seven players who knocked in a goal.  Lopez and his team are pleased with their ability to attack the net.

Monday the Red Demons travel to play in the Bishop Carroll tourney.
