GCHS, Police Resource Officers Ready For Traffic Enforcement
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Last February, two school resource officers with the police department took over on site traffic enforcement at Garden City High School. District Public Information Coordinator Roy Cessna reports on the tickets that were issued.
All together eight total tickets were issued during the remainder of the school year. New High School Principal Steve Nordby is comfortable with officers taking up responsibilities of traffic enforcement.
Students begin school Thursday and will have a full schedule Friday.
