Kansas AG Schmidt Sues EPA Over Air Quality Regulations
(westernkansansnews.com) Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt and 15 other states have joined forces to sue the Environmental Protection Agency for invalidating air quality protection standards in those states.
The coalition stretches from Arizona to Ohio. Schmidt is also considering a separate lawsuit for new proposed regulations on coal-fired power plants announced a week ago.
